QBlissA9r2 Qseven Module with NXP i.MX6 Processor

Since the Qseven form factor was introduced many manufacturers of boards and software have adopted it.

The reason is the compatibility of add on boards as well as the small form factor ( 70 x 70mm ) with an inexpensive connector.

It uses an NXP i.MX6 ARM Cortex –A9 CPU with long term availability of at least 15 years.

Key features are:

  • Up to 1GB Flash , 4GB DDR3-RAM , and 32GB eMMC
  • Multimedia options include 3D graphics hardware Decoder / Encoder with resolution up to [email protected]
  • Additional hardware units are available in i.MX6 which relieve the CPU significantly and improve graphics performance
  • 2 –Channel TFT LVDS LCD Controller , touch via I2C.
  • Ethernet , CAN ,USB,PCI , SATA , microSD-Card.
  • WLAN /BT 3.0 on Board ( optional ).
  • Digital Camera / MIPI –CSI Interface ( optional ).
  • Windows Embedded Compact 7/2013 and Linux ( Buildroot / Yocto ).

The Module offers an unprecedented combination of high end computer graphics and low power. The i.MX^ is also available with Solo/DualLite/Quad and QuadPlus in the same board. A starter kit with a base board in PicoITX form factor enables easy evaluation and speeds design. Display kits and adapters and documentation with current software drivers and example programs.
